1 cup
tomatoes (28 oz) Put tomatoes in pot and chop the larger pieces with edge of spoon. Add sugar,vinegar,salt and bag of spices. Stir well. Bring to a boil and add chopped onions and apples. When booiling vigorously cover tightly, turn off heat and let stand about one hour.(may be boiled longer if you like the onions really soft.
