Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies


1/3 cup margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar substitute
(I use regular brown sugar (plus)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
3 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup quick-cooking rooled oats
1/3 cup chocolate chips
Cream together margarine, brown sugar, untill light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking ssoda, and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Fold in rolled oats and chocolate chips. Drop onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with fork . Bake at 375* for 8-10 minutes until cookies begin to brown around the edges. Store in a covered container.
